CPO Preparation Course Part One

This one-hour presentation is given to optometric technicians, opticians and other staff several times a year at The Tiger Institute.  It is the first of our three-part CPO Prep series.  Designed to help prepare students for their Certified Paraoptometric exam, it also serves as a fantastic beginner-level course to brush up on ocular anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, optical dispensing, contact lenses, frame adjustments and repair, examination procedures, special procedures and office administration.

This session covers medical terminology, basic ocular anatomy, common eye disorders, common eye surgeries, basic ocular pharmacology, refractive status, and eye care specialists and ancillary personnel.
